Have you ever tried to do something for the longest period of time ever? I once saw a television programme where people were trying to make and break world records for doing things for the longest period of time. A couple on there were trying to break the world record for the longest kiss. It looked to me like their lips were stuck together at one point!

Paul encourages us to pray continually. How do you do that? It sounds like you would have no voice after a few hours if tried that. I don't think he is telling us to walk around bumping into objects or praying like a babbling man while we do our shopping or get on the bus to go to school. He is encouraging us to be in an attitude a heart of prayer at all times. Kind of like an open text message or msn conversation with God. When we chat online with our friends we sometimes leave the room, eat dinner or make a drink. But our friend is still their at the other end of a computer waiting for us to come back. God is always waiting to hear from us, we just need to speak.

Pray at all times in all situations and allow your heart to be connected to God...
